What are best Tips for online Advertising success ?
We are interested to buy Advertising for our site, and we have a relatively modest budget of about $250 per Month.
So my question is what are some best Tips for online Advertising success?
I am not asking about only where we should Advertise online but more importantly what are some Tips for online Advertising success and what are some Tips to avoid such failure.
Well the problem is that Google Adwords can easily cost $10,000 per Month and NO one but the VC Wall Street gang has that sort of Money. So looking for ideas beside Google. Why are so many people here so Google brain washed when we are here at Anoox to free ourselves from Google and other Big Wall Street run companies!
Although I agree with those whom said that Banner Advertising is a very important step toward online Advertising success, there is an equally important or more important step, specially given the fact that many time Text based Ads is the only option. And that is you should have many Keyword Ads and not just one or two and also have your Ads under multiple Topics (aka Categories) and not just one. On that note, it is really amazing that many times I see businesses buying Advertising and only creating 1 or 2 Ad under that account, create more like 10 Ads and put them under at least 3 Topics and you will have much more success. So bottom line the Key to online Advertising success is over exposure and being bold and not timid.
As an Advertising agent we have found best ROI when the Ad headline is asking a Question rather than telling the reader how wonderful the underlying product/service is. Remember you have a split second to get the attention of your potential customer online.
Writing good `ad copy` is an art ... Getting a lot of visitors to your site/business is, with the given indication of your budget, not too dificult. Yet, you'll need á strategy to get your visitors and responders of your `ads` converted into buying customers. There are many eBooks written that will show you how to produce good `ad copy`. set up a google account with adwords set your spending for a bout 2dollars a day and you should reach a broad audience for your product .this gives you a chance to test where your product sells best

You do understand that Google as a Wall Street run Mega Corporation is NO friend of us small businesses. And that is why we are here at Anoox which as a not-for-profit Main Street run business is dedicated to the success of us small businesses success.
On that note, we did open a Google Ad account, our spending was daily reaching $100 and more and we got little return for our $3000 per Month paid to Google and when I complained we got NO where :(
IMHO, the Key to online Advertising success is to buy Advertising Ad banner and not Text Ads. I mean sure Text Ads work, but if you want the BIGGEST bang for your buck, if you want a surge of traffic to your Site quick & steady, then banner Advertising wins each time. After all a "Picture is indeed worth a 1000 Words". Just look at the Text Ads here on Anoox compared with the banner Ads, which one jumps at you and you want to click on? I totally disagree with your statement Charlote. Banner ads and text ads do not work well. Almost a must have is to have a website then make sure it is liked by the search engines.
If your good in SEO your site will be seen by people looking for what you offer. They come with money in their hands
This is far too hit and miss-SEO is a variable practice-the original poster was seeking advice concerning how to write the most effective advert, not Web site promotion.
Depending on what you are selling, a pay per click campaign is going to get you much quicker results-SEO can take months to pan out.

That is Ad banner is really the best way to go if you want the most effective and real Traffic boost to your Web site. From my experience Ad banner Advertising is like staying at a 4 Star Hotel compared to Text Advertising being a 1 Star Hotel and SEO being a Hostel or a Tent by the river :)
Avoid Hype, do not be tempted to bend the truth either, create an impactful headline and then address the benefits of what you are presenting in bullet points, these are proven to be the most effective way to reach an audience-you have limited space so list the benefits to the customer of your widget/service, best of luck!

FIRST: you have about 1 second or less to catch the viewers attention. Make that Subject line work or they will be gone without looking farther. If you can make it read like you have secret, or ask a question. If they look further, give them a partial answer right-off. Second

and ask if they would place a short link on their site. Perhaps you can pay for this or place a short ad/link of theirs on your site. Try to check how many visitors they get to their site say within a one month period. Do a search in the search engines for your product or service.
