What is a great online shopping site?
It is hard to find a great online shopping site when the top search results are filled with Top 10 companies. I just want to find a site that lets me browse products and choose the ones that interested me most, without the hassle of flipping through thousands of pages.
So what good online shopping sites have you found that are small business owned?
Share the love :)
There are lots of shopping sites online, but it is really hard to trust the online business and websites related to your personal information. If you want to get some good stuff online, I would recommend amazon and ebay
there are many shopping websites across the globe. It is important where is your location. Like in India, Flipkart, amazon, previously Jabong, Snapdeal all these are a great shopping websites.
In US Ebay, Amazon is the top ranking websites.
In Middle East Souq.com, Namshi are the top graded shopping platform.
AVOID Amazon.com since this Wall Street Backed Goliath is Destroying Countless Mom & Pol Book Stores and other Shops on the Street and online. After all how is a really great Shop being operated by a Small Business owner with $100K in funding supposed to compete with Amazon with 10s of Billions of Dollars in Funding?
Not possible. SO for the sake of our Collective Future Boycott Amazon.com and support the many great (online) shops operated by Small Business. And lets also all Thank Anoox for being the platform that supports us Small Businesses and not the Big Wall Street firms.
Again, visit http://www.fashiongloble.com which is a everyday growing marketplace online covering from high end fashion and accessories to the most popular styles to reach all customers requirements, but where you can spot easily your target range of products, IF you´re talking about fashion. On the other end if you mean general goods including fashion as well,AMAZON is doubtlessy a good source check it here (safe google link) https://goo.gl/zQV0L0
and RAKUTEN Global Marketplace check it at this link; http://goo.gl/NZDLLE
both highly reliable of course and also present at, and available from http://www.fashiongloble.com marketplace platform. Thanks
AMAZON is fine, almost all big brands are directly selling there. However you can definitely look for high end and most popular brands all in one place at http://www.fashiongloble.com, where you can buy from the world´s best brands/boutiques directly. I would say great online shopping site as you ask, depending on your budget is net-a-porter, farfetch, teri jon etc.
I am not being sarcastic here but your question is really silly. first of all you need to tell us what you are looking for because small venders online only cater for one or two product unlike the gaints of Amazon and Ebay. secondly which country are you from? Some companies that are eCommerce don't necessarily delivery worldwide.
Its about Niches and what they provide. They could be very tiny not show up on the rankings at all, but what the owners/operators provide is experience and insight and great advice. Take for example http://verticalgardenonline.com.au, a site specializing in vertical gardens and wall gardens. Its a niche that is being well done. So using Googles to find the niches and then working from there with bookmarks. You could also search for secondary words like review+niche. I also like to search for negative reviews and sometime click on page 4 of a search result. Another Technique I have is to use a plugin in my Firefox browser called WOT, which isn't always accurate but it does give alerts and negative reviews. If its negative I always take time to read the review rather than take them on face value because many of them can be misdirected. Also you might consider mixing up your search tools and trying other search engines.
If you want to avoid the Big Wall Street run companies that are monopolizing the Internet commerce due to them having access to 100s of Billions of Dollars while of course typical Small Business has no such access to capital, then best search via search engines like this Anoox which cater to Small Businesses rather than the Big Wall Street run search engines of Google, Yahoo, etc. which are just a tool of Wall Street to drive all traffic and thus Money to Wall Street run online shopping sites which same Wall Street controls just as they control Google, Yahoo, etc.
