Which are tastiest food recipes that result in Weight Loss and Fit?

Hello,
I am looking to put together an Eating list of things to Eat that are tasty while leading to Weight Loss. So I was wondering what suggestions you all have?

When suggesting, please be specific. That is I am not looking for an answer as generic as Salad, but for example Cobb Salad with Oil & Vinegar but no Ranch dressing. And if you can include portion size and number of calories, that would be even better.

And if you want to suggest, what not to eat, that would be also great.

Thank you b4 hand.

I would recommend eating as fresh as possible. The less processing the food goes through, the healthier it will be for you. Try eating fresh fruit and vegetables. As long as the majority of your diet consists of these kinds of foods, your body will thank by having more energy and looking better.

Juice recipes are my kind. You can find various juice recipes for weight loss, cleansing, detox among others. With a god diet plan, you can choose or know what to eat when and how much.

WOW! 159 Calories only. And it tastes good too! That I have to try.
So should this go on a bed of rice or greens?

JBurd 3 years 3 months ago

Sure, but watch the portions so as to not significantly increase carbs. There are however
2 types of carbs. See the articles below to learn more.

I don't have any recipes but I have bought Skinny Cow products. I think they are good when you want dessert but not all the fat and guilt that goes with it.

Hey Rich, I think this is a great suggestion you have provided.
Question: how do you make the Vietnamese-Style Beef & Noodle Broth?
And would it be more sensible to have this for Dinner as we are all short on time during
lunch hours to Cook a meal!

Rich 3 years 8 months ago

2 teaspoons canola oil
Wesson Canola Oil Regular
1 pound beef flank steak, very thinly sliced against the grain
4 cups chopped bok choy, (1 small head, about 1 pound)
4 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 cup water
4 ounces wide rice noodles
2 teaspoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 1/2 cups mung bean sprouts
4 tablespoons chopped fresh basil, or to taste

Rich 3 years 8 months ago

Preparation
Heat oil in a Dutch oven or soup pot over high heat. Add beef and cook, stirring often,
until just cooked, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a plate using tongs, leaving the juices in
the pot.
Add bok choy to the pot and cook, stirring, until wilted, about 2 minutes. Add broth and
water, cover and bring to a boil. Add noodles and soy sauce; simmer until the noodles are
soft, about 4 minutes. Return the beef to the pot and cook until heated through, 1 to 2
minutes more. Ladle into bowls

Rich 3 years 8 months ago

Ladle into bowls and sprinkle with bean sprouts and basil. Serve hot.

Hi Jessica,

I am a Personal Trainer, and I can tell you a very easy to make and low Calorie dish is:

Sloppy Joes. It tastes good and at around 200 calories per serving, you cant go wrong with it as a Weight Loss and Fit Dish. BUT: Skip the store-bought sauce and make these Joes from scratch to reduce the sodium content often found in canned sauces

Good eating.

Hey Jessica,

One thing I can tell you not to Eat, or not to Drink to be exact, is:

Alcohol

Even average wine drinkers consume up to 2,000 extra calories every month. A glass of sparkling white may look innocuous but its cumulative effects can hinder weight loss. According to diet expert Robert C Atkins, alcohol is the first thing your body burns before it moves on to anything else. So until your body gets rid of alcohol from your system, you won’t burn any fat.

Hum! Thanks for this answer 2.
But I am not sure I agree with this, since for example French People on avg drink 1
Bottle of Red Wine per Day, and they are some of the Fittest People I have seen.

Yes2goodideas 3 years 8 months ago

Alcohol in Moderation is not just not bad, but many Scientific studies have shown it to be
very beneficial to someones health, as Jessica stated, a good example are the French
People.

jessica_sol 3 years 8 months ago

Yes, that is my reading of this too.
That is good Red Wine, drank in Moderation makes you Fitter and Healthier, since for
many reasons you will sleep better with a glass or 2 of Wine b4 sleep and we all know how
Sleep is one of keys to being Fit.

One suggestion I have is:

Cranberry Turkey Salad

It is tasty, while only having about 150 Calories for a Serving of 1.
And a recipe would be:
8 OZ turkey breast, cut into small cubes
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Bona Petite :)

Taylormeng 3 years 8 months ago

Hey Jessica, I used to be a fat girl previously ,and my weight had been reached to
160lb;a better idea i want to suggest you is don't eat any sweets before your bedtime
*****

jessica_sol 3 years 8 months ago

Taylormeng, but do you have any recipe ideas of what foods or drinks to make?

London_Naturopath_Osteopath 3 years 8 months ago

Hi Jessica, I've got a great recipe for for sauerkraut which is tangy and can be added to
pretty much any savoury dish to really get the metabolism going :) Alternatively, soups
can be super filling as a main meal or starter this time of year, to help you feel full
longer. The quickest one I love is 2 parts chicken broth, with 1 cup of green peas (frozen
OK), fresh or dried mint - to taste and raw garlic clove. Blitz in blender and heat to
simmer on stove when ready to eat :)

jessica_sol 3 years 8 months ago

LNS, so can you please list the detail of this recipe?
Thanks.

London_Naturopath_Osteopath 3 years 8 months ago

Hi Jessica - you can find it here: http://susannahmakram.com/?p=864

Taylormeng 3 years 8 months ago

Hey Jessica ,I failed to giving up my favorite sanakes in the weight-redusing period ;
But the most important is that i insisted to do some sports ,such as yoga and climbing
,they are very useful for me .

Lux_Report 3 years 8 months ago

Taylor, is Yoga really useful as a Weight Loss and get Fit plan?
I mean I dont see how you can burn many Calories and build Muscle seating on a mat! Am
I missing something?
